Dr. Ben graduated from Harbin Medical University in 1997, obtained his master's degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2000. He has been engaged in clinical work of thoracic surgery for more than 20 years. He strives to provide excellent and individualized care for patients of various thoracic diseases. He has accumulated rich experience in the multidisciplinary treatment for lung and esophageal cancers, specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat lung cancer, esophageal cancer, as well as other conditions such as myasthenia gravis and thymic tumors. In terms of scientific research, he is mainly engaged in molecular biology researches and clinical research of lung and esophageal cancers. He has participated in 2 projects supported by the Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He is also the co-investigator in many multi-center clinical studies, and published several research articles. Dr. Ben's research also looks into surgical quality and outcomes as well as enhanced recovery after surgery.
