They say time heals all wounds, but some injuries don't heal as efficiently as others. Treating those kinds of difficult wounds is the specialty of the Department of Burn and Wound Repair Surgery, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital.

We are one of the first burns and wound repair centers in China and are Guangdong Provincial Key Clinical Department of Burns. We are the training base for burn surgeons of the national health commission, the national drug clinical trial base, the Southeast Asian trauma repair training base, the national health commission VSD technical training base, the Chinese diabetes-related chronic wound treatment training base, and the national engineering laboratory burns trauma clinical research base. We have a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and technicians with advanced training in wound care and thus can offer patients the most advanced healing options. We have a class 100 laminar flow ward equipped with advanced medical equipment for critically ill patients and a comprehensive ward for general inpatients. 

We also have a specialized outpatient wound care treatment unit dedicated to the care of outpatients with chronic, non-healing wounds.
