Clinical Interests

Dr. Xie has been engaged in thoracic surgery for two decades. He is proficient in diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in thoracic surgery, especially in minimally invasive surgery for lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors. He is also good at minimally invasive surgery for lung bullae, palmar hyperhidrosis and benign tumors of lung / esophagus. He also has very rich experience in minimally invasive correction of deformity of chest wall by Nuss procedure.

Experience

In 2009, he went to Odense University Hospital,Danmark to study VATS as visiting scholar. In

2012, he went to Beijing Children's Hospital to study pediatric thoracic diease. In 2020,

responding to the call of our Nation, he provides medical aid in Yingde, to help to improve local medical capabilities in thoracic disease.

Awards and Honors

Dr. Xie won the first award in immunotherapy of lung cancer’s speech contest in 2019; won the third prize of thesis contest in annual congress of Thoracic Surgeon Branch of Chinese Physicians' Association, in 2013.
