Dr. Zhang has been engaged in clinical work of thoracic surgery since 1998. He obtained his master and doctor degree of surgical oncology from 2003 to 2009 in the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. He is specialized in the minimally invasive treatment for lung & esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumor, palmar hyperhidrosis, funnel chest, lung metastases, myasthenia gravis, lung bullae and pneumothorax. He has published more than 10 articles in J Thorac Dis, Chinese Journal of Surgery, Cancer, Chinese Journal of Oncology, Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He is the primary and co-investigator of multiple molecular biology researches and clinical researches on lung and esophageal cancer.
